New tags for new models

Ok is there anyway possible to inject a model into Halo 2 without over writing anything? Like have a whole new tag added to the map specifically for the new model. Because I want to put some pretty nice models into this mod I have been working on but I always have to end up replacing pelicans or other things. The result= Messed up shaders and one ugly skin on the new model.

So do you mean like new [shad] and so on tags? Cuz it already makes a new [mode] tag...

Well I mean like a completely new [mode] tag for my model. Yes I do mean where I do not have to use other models already in game. The problem is if you look at the pic below you can see the messed up shaders from the pelican:

Basically I want to have my own shaders, well UV map would be sexy and I know how to skin in Milkshape but I wanna get it in game.
