What are the Red Cedar trees in Coagulation?

Hello everyone,
I have been trying to figure out what the heck the red cedar trees (red_ceder_m) in Coagulation over by the teleporter are. I have first off tried to swap them with palm_tree_c from Zanzibar but have been unable to do so. I have been able to swap a palm tree with the rocket launcher so I know I am doing that right, just not with the cedar trees. In Entity the trees don't show up under any of the spawn types and so I am wondering if they are actual parts of the BSP instead of scenery or obstacles. I have also tried removing them by nulling out the collision of the red cedar scenery and have nulled out the shad red cedar trunk and red cedar boughs in the scenarios but the collision is still there, with the shad removed so they are invisible.
If anyone could tell me what these trees are (and I think the rocks in Coagulation are the same), it would be grealty appreciated! Also, if there is any way to either swap them with the palm tree or remove them altogether (including collision), it would be great too. Thank you!
