Are tehre any programs that let view the models from halo 2 and let me apply skins to them? I'm working on some skins right now, and its going kinda slow because i have to keep ftp-ing them to the xbox every time a make a change. very slow process.

If you're just wanting to view your skins you could open the map in Entity's BSP Viewer and it shows you the skins.

Look in the mode tag. I believe it will show them. Just click your weapon and click Raw Editor.

umm... i'm not seeing it.
[edit] can anyone help me with this? i would really like to get to work on my skins as quickly as possible. just to clear things up, i want to see the skins i create on the model before i inject them into halo 2. that way, i know exactly what they will look like in game.

Hmm, I think Entity Alpha will show the models with colors.
(Use the left click on mouse to move around the model viewer)

In entity that would be the raw editor right? that doesn't work for me. i click it, and an error message pops up. I'm really looking for a good STABLE program for this. it doesn't even ahve to be made for halo. as long as it can view the models and apply the skins.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
