UV mapping and editing the bump maps
UV mapping and editing the bump maps
Ok I have heard and seen a lot of things with UV mapping and editing bump maps. Can someone expalin what this is and what it does and if so how do you do it?
Ok but my photoshop does not have a TNG extension to save it as and also how come I cannot open bump maps in photoshop? I have Adobe Photoshop CS v.8.0
EDIT: Also if you have to use .DDS for bitmaps in Dot Halo then how to you inject your bump map. I dunno I still dont understand this whole thing even after reading the tutorial. Can someone please relate bump mapping to Halo 2 and how to do it and what it does? I know how to skin but that just puts whatever you skin it as over the original actual texture in the game.
