[halo 2] how to make a multiplayer cd

so i have tried over and over and i cant seem to figure it out....im trying to put the Kiltrocity map pack on to a dvd so i can play it on my xbox.....i tried the HaloMaps tut but that didnt work....i think im doing something wrong.... so is their a good tut that i can follow

Alrighty. I believe all you need to do is make all the folders and such like Halo 2 has on the disc and put the correct file in the correct place: Like put the bink videos in the right place, but the map in the right place, ect. Since it is the map pack I would imagine you should put all the maps in the maps folder. Then, go to Xbox-Scene and find an app that can make an XISO. Then, make an XISO file out of you Halo 2 folder with all the halo 2 stuff in it. An XISO is like an ISO for you Xbox. Then, just use a program like nero and burn it to a DVD and it should work. If the XISO is too big to burn to a DVD, take out the single player maps and try. I hope that helps and I hope I said everything right.

i'm getting an error as well. check to see if u have a shared.map file. i think that is the source of my problem and i'm working on it

Yes, for multiplayer you must have the shared map and main menu or it wont work.

ya i got all of that.... but when i create the iso with xISO...it just makes a WinRAR file...and i tried to extract it but it says their are no files in it....

I know. Winrar thinks it is a compressed file, but it isnt. Get a program that burns DVDs like Nero and burn the file to a DVD.

ya i did that and it didnt work...im going to try again....and in the nero do i burn it as a data dvd ??

theres ur problem man. ok go to ur start menu and go to nero. then open nero burning rom. then close the pop-up that comes. then go to file>open>and choose the image that i hope u made. then check off finalize after burning. make sure it is set to burn disc-at-once. and try to burn at a slower speed, maybe about 4x. yaaay

o yes i got it....elementkz was right...thanks to all...i shall now go play on xlink...
