[halo 2] MC Shadow Issues

Well, I finally got MC the way I want. 
But, he doesnt have a shadow anymore. It looks funny since only his gun has a shadow. Ive tried it with Elites and they have shadows. How do I give MC a shadow?
EDIT: Odd... I gave MC the original bumps and his shadow returned. Is there a way for me to keep my bump but keep the shadows?
