SAPIEN keeps closing down!

every time I go on sapien and follow aztecs tutorial about how to use the deltimer (or watevr its called) actr and actv tags. The bit at the end were you delete the new instance you created to test the AI sapien decides it will throw a wobbly and close itself down sometimes even before I delete the instance !
So what the hell is wrong?
