I patched my zanzibar map with the lakeside serenity skin and resigned it. But for some reason it will never load? ive tried at least a dozen times to get it to work, im probably missing something extremely obvious.

So did you add it to the mainmenu or just overwrite your zanzibar.map?
If you did add it to the mainmenu then make sure the scenario is correct.
Maybe your zanzibar isn't clean. Take a clean one from your disc and try.
And last of all, Maybe your mainmenu, shared, or single_player_shared.map isn't clean or something like that.

I just overwrote my zanzibar.map.
And my zanzibar is clean i took it off my disc just to double check.
I just replaced my mainmenu, shared, and single_player_shared with fresh clean ones from my disc, but the map still won't load, it just reloads back to the blue screen.

What Auto Update do you have?
If you have the 1.2.2 (The one that doesn't let mimesis maps play) It will just go back to the mainmenu I think
Maybe just rename your Auto Update folder.

No, i have mimesis and am running the 1.1 update (where you can play modded maps)
EDIT: just for the heck of it, i deleted my auto update completely, cleared my cache, and tried to load the map. but still no go

You did patch it using serenity right. Maybe your version of serenity is out-dated. Get the newest version.
The newest one has a progress bar and its 3.1.

Yea, im running version 3.1

Then I really don't know. Is it only the zanzibar.
Maybe you should add it to the mainmenu, That might fix it.

arggggg, I just dont understand. I tried patching the map again and this time adding it to my main menu with serenity. I resign it and everything but it still wont load!!

I would talk to greeenc about this (He did make this skin right). Maybe his patch is bad.
Can you load the clean zanzibar?

Yes, greeenc made the skin and i can load the clean zanzibar.

It has to be the patch. It just has to be. Thats all I can say. I have thought of all that could fix this problem and nothing has.

Yea, im pretty sure it is too, i just applied frozen wasteland to my coag and it loaded fine. (btw, i downloaded the skin only version of lakeside, not the one with trees.)

Really? Someone used my Skin I feel honored.

As for Lakeside, use the one with tree's it looks nicer and worked for me.
