Why does Halo freeze at the beginning of a game?

It's weird... and it only happens on Halo PC - not CE. It never freezes right away when I join a server. It'll happen at the beginning of the next round. Now, this doesn't always happen, but it happens enough to make me think ahead and quit at the end of a round (which sucks, because i have to join a new server every time). Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

it happened to me once so i closed everything except halo and it worked then i tryed it with the other programs running and ran halo then it worked for some reason

Using third party programs to modify Halo(or trainers) will alot of the time freeze Halo when the next round starts. The only way to solve the problem is to shut off the program was soon as the game ends(or disable it).
If you're not running other programs though, then I honestly have no idea.

Hmmm... that might be it. I don't have time to try it now, but I soon will. I'll let you know if it works...
