how do i apply them to my maps. For some reason they want to open in windows media player which of course they end up not working in there anyways.

[edit] okay maybe i should be more clear this is for halo 2 and i downloaded these mods from the halo 2 download forums

Get winRAR.

www.rarlabs.com

When installed, right click on the .rar file and click Extract Here.

Then, you should have some sort of useable patch file.
