need help getting my mods working

hello i have problems when i use my mods on x b connect mod section

i need help on following areas

signing
making chnages properly
gettign mods to work on xb connect

when i try signg it comes up with greyed out box with 00000 in it what do i do

also after i use dot halo tro make changes do i pres fix enption before i close it then sing it please post a small guide or answer to my problemss
