what is energy_sword_useless

what exacly is energy sword useless? if I am swapping a weapon do I put it over energy sword, energe sword Useless or both?

Useless is in single player, when the Sword's "ammo" has depleted.

I think the tag for it is also in MP maps...but I don't think it's ever used.

Ive always wanted to find the tag to balance out the sword in multiplayer but to no avail.
