I got it so people can see my server, but now they cant join. Can someone tell me what to do so they can play?

Ok i made a server so me and someone else could make a movie. I created it and he can see it, but when he clicks to join it, he cant join it.

Are you using a router? I'm sure you already know the solution to this multi

First what error does he get?Besides you have to foward ports when you have a router.You also have to open up the ports in the windows firewall

I had to log into my router, which I figured out with help from a few people, so then next in the tutorial it wanted me to go to an applications and gaming thing, but he had Linksys and i have Belkin so i dunno where to go to open up my router to allow people in
