HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hey, i've just modded my xbox i think. Im looking at the evolution X dashboard.

When ive done a cold reboot and all that, i go to halo 2. It says I cannot connect to Xbox Live, would you like to run the troubleshooter. I click yes and then it says XBOX LIVE COULD NOT BE UPDATED

Does anyone know what causes this problem? My DHCP is on automatic or whatever. Static IP, all addresses check out.

Second problem, i cant FTP!

Im using FLASHFTP, my ports passwords and usernames are all correct. Im using 192 168 0 2 as my IP address, which worked before.

hmmm i dont mod halo 2 and i got the halo can not be updated message too, i dunno whats up with that, i think it was just an xbl thing.....

What do you mean you go to halo2. As in off of your harddrive? Becuase you can't sign into live from the harddrive if you have the game saved on there.

its on disk, i dunno how to get it onto my HDD

well, normally if xbl detects a mod, it will ban you. that may be what happened (the thing is, dont go on xbl with mods)

no you can sign into halo 2 with mods and sign out and you wont get banned, you have to join either a mm game or custom then it detects them.

mb i misworded that a little... nvm then, thats not the problem...

You never go to your dashboard wehn you turn on h2 right? Like the disc is already in the tray and you just turn on your box so that halo2 loads?
