Imported machines and missing collisions

Hey, one of my first posts here!
Ive got a question about SP machines on multiplayer maps
This is what I have done:
I have imported the cable_room_whole [mach] into ascention using Insolence, opened the plasma pistol [itmc] and swapped the plasma pistol [eqip] for the cable_room_whole [mach]. I then fixed the signature and ftp'ed it over. When I play the map, the cable_room_whole shows up in place of the plasma pistol, but has no collision! After messing with it some more for a couple hours, I'm still where I started.
Can any of you suggest what i'm doing wrong and possibly how to give this darn thing collision!

from what i hear you need to place smaller objects in in it for col.

You mean, literally build a floor?
Sounds like a lot of work
I found a mod on here called "The Cable Room" by Team Defiance... and it looks to be almost the same thing as what im trying to do
Does anyone know if there is an easier / quicker way?

That is the wrong way. You have to do way more to get it to have collision. ALOT more.

Man, its like pulling teeth around here!
Has there been a tutorial written about adding collision to imported machines?
I've tried searching through here but have come up with nothing...
Something to note:
When using Insolence to import the cable_room_whole, I remember seeing it transfer the [coll] cable_room_whole as well. The only thing is, this doesnt seem to be affecting anything.

great way to help in him do in the correct way.....
As much as I'd love to help answer your question, I dont work with machs...hopefully pyroman31 will actually give you some infomation about how it is done right instead of just saying your wrong.

dont spawn it with ITMC, try it with the MACH-reflexive in the SCNR tag... if that doesnt work youve imported the wrong MACH.. take the MACH with PHMO (look in MACH HLMT -dependencies) , PHMO makes collision in multiplayer... its not that hard like pyroman is stating

not all machs have the collosion. the big ones like the cable room, the collosion is part of the bsp. and btw cable room is a bsp conversion
