What's better for modding Halo 2 Hard Mod or Soft mod?
I heard hard mods get caught and soft mods don't, but I didn't hear it from someone who has ever modded halo so...

It really all depends on what you do on Xbox LIVE which determines your "detection" or not.
If you marry your EEPROM and your HDD serial before you sign up for LIVE, they will not be able to see that it's modded, but you will still be banned for modding on LIVE.
Bungie has gotten good at detecting modders. They are banned promptly, even though they don't ban people named "i lvl ppl up".
With that being said, this is a Halo modding forum, not Xbox. Please head to www.xbox-scene.com
