no D:\ folder???

Today when i connected to my xbox everything was fine until i noticed there was NO D:\ folder!!! wtf?!? so i went to file explorer on unleashed x and its there but why wont it come up on my computer?
and also in file explorer why is there 2 identical things on each side of the screen....? both have all the same folders and stuff, whats that for?

You have to have a disc in in order to have a D drive. The D drive is the Disc.

i do have a disk in...i guess il try again though, maybe i didnt give it time to load or somthing.
but every other time i connected without a disk in there was a D:\ folder so wtf?
didnt work, still no D:\

What type of disc do you have in there and what FTP application do you use.

D:\ is the disc drive. It will only show up in an ftp application if a disc is in it. If it still isn't try hitting F5 or refresh or by using a different ftp client.

maybe i screwed somthing up when i switched from evo x to unleashed x?
and what will happen if i restore my ms backup (deletes everything in c:\)
would it make the xbox like it was before i started modding?

Even if there is no disc in the tray, it should still show up.
That's a weird error.
As for the reason of having two different views of the Xbox files system, it is so you can be in two drives at once, and crudely "drag and drop" (copy/paste) files between partitions on your Xbox without having to FTP.

i still gotta figure out why i dont have a D: drive.
