i followed the tutorial on how to get the old maps on the hard drive so you can mod them, and i got up to the point where it says to go to the E drive on your xbox, and put the halo 2 folder in the games folder. but when i go to E its just backup, cache, tdata and udata. should i put it in tdata with the new maps or what?

E:\Games
Make a new folder, label it "Halo 2"
Send the game to:
E:\Games\Halo 2\

Then you will be able to play Halo 2 off the HDD.

If you absolutely cannot figure out how to make a simple folder, make one on your computer and FTP it to your Xbox.....

Just create one. Go to File Explorer and go into your E drive and click start..i think... and go to create folder. its not that hard.

After you've made it on your computer just move it into your E drive via FTP, just like Tural said.

so just make a normal, empty folder on my computer titled "games", then FTP it into the E: drive. then FTP my "halo 2" folder into the "games" folder, and my old maps will be on the xbox and i can mod them?

do i just make some random folder, put "games" in it, and in games has "halo 2" then FTP games along with the stuff in it to the xbox and im set?

Connect to your xbox via FTP. Make a folder on your computer called games . Then FTP that folder into your E Drive on your Xbox. Then you have a folder on your computer called halo 2 which has three folder and a file called default.xbe inside it. The three folders should be called maps, bink, and media. FTP that folder into the games folder on your Xbox. If you can't understand that i don't know what else to tell you.

Depending on the FTP client you have, you can use a HotKey to create a folder.
Remember, your Xbox is now modded and has almost every permission your PC has. You probably could Right Click>Create New Folder.
I know that in FXP it's the Insert button. Just meddle around and you will find it.

well i got a "games" folder on my xbox with the "halo 2" folder in it, but if i try to play it off the harddrive it says theres an error with the disk, and it wont let me transfer modded maps.

so i think im giving up on modding old maps for a while, and im going to learn how to make my own mods and practice on the new maps.
