Dude WTF. Whenever I run Halo in console mode, I can bring up the console text box (it's purple and stuff) but whenever I type in a code, it doesn't work. It says it can't be executed at this time. I have tried it on my own hosted servers and other servers and even campaigns! Nothing ever works. And yes, I do add underscores "_" and I have tried the codes soooo many times now. What is wrong!

All these cheats:

Toggle instant deaths for enemies that see player cheat_medusa <0 or 1>
Set game speed game_speed <0-20>
Clear console window cls
Toggle unlimited ammunition and no overheating for human weapons and plasma weapons cheat_bottomless_clip <0 or 1>
Unlimited ammunition cheat_infinite_ammo <0 or 1>
Super jumps cheat_super_jump <0 or 1>
Possess touched character cheat_bump_possession <0 or 1>
Invincibility cheat_deathless_player <0 or 1>

I simply typed for ex: cheat_all_weapons

And I hit enter. It says cannot be executed ...

Well, since you're using a cheat. Do you have -devmode in the file target?

Er...I typed in -console (oops). I thought it was supposed to be -console and devmode was for CE only.

You can't use cheats in HaloPC.

Thanks. Maybe I can't use cheats...but why can't I use ban? Ban doens't work either. I hate it when these noobs keep getting on my server and lag it up. It won't let me ban or kick. And the target is -console. Is everything correct?

Well maybe I mistyped it since I tried it once only. I'll retry that but so...if you can't use cheats, what can you use for PC? I know ban and kicks definitely is possible because I've seen people just get kicked off servers. Any idea? (Sorry if I'm boring you out right now).

Hold F1, find out the number of the player. Then, type player_ban_# (# being the number of the player.)

EDIT: Atleast thats how I do it, I've modded EVERYTHING in my Halo directory so I could have most likely changed the command. If it doesn't work, I don't know what to tell ya...Sorry.

you dont hold f1 (well you might since you have modded it or something but most people dont). you have to type in console sv_players and it will show all of the players and their names and all of that good stuff.
