how do i inject a skin that is already made for a model over the gun im replacing it for... i dont think just placing it over will work?

in order to get it to work correctly you would need to inject the UVW map of the model, which and app has not been mode for yet. You can try to edit the bitmap to match the UVW map. It'll be difficult but its possible.

Extracting the UVW map is the easy part, getting it back in hasn't been done.
