Any Mod On Live ( Hence "Other People to see the skins") Will Get you Banned...
Only YOu Can see the skins cause it reads the skins from your Xbox.. which is why you can see the change... but sence others aren't useing the same bitmaps you have, they wont see what you see...

You sir, are wrong.
A Bitmap is any image.
True or False, the tag where DDS files are stored is the [bitm] tag, surely "bitm" doesnt come from DDS.

Tell me any reliable source that says a Bitmap is always a .bmp file. A bitmap is an image file.

Bitmap is just a commonly used term for a raster graphic. BMP's are raster graphics in the windows bitmap format.
EDIT: Those links in Tural's post weren't there a minute ago.. I swear it

It wouldn't be correct to refer to a vector graphic as a bitmap ;xTural wrote:A Bitmap is any image.

MrBalll did answer the question in his first reply, you will never be able to see skins on a map unless your xbox is modded in some way. How would you get the skins on there?
And to end this little argument; dakisback3, your wrong. .DDS is a format of a bitmap. A bitmap is basically a bunch pixels on a screen in a pattern to form an image. The higher the resolution of the Computer Monitor/Device, the more crisp/clean the pic will look.
Also Tural, "Bitmap ≠ .bmp" is false. .bmp is indeed a bitmap, it is just a bitmap in its raw format. The main difference between .dds and .bmp is compression and resolution.
