2 questions......somewhat "noob"

1)how and why do u have to "sign" a map.
2)after i ake a change wit a tag editor program, how do i put it back in the game,with the changes.

1) With a resigner program, because the game verifies that the map is unmodded. So it needs to be resigned.
2) Game? Program?

You'll probably be better of using HMT to mod CE. Also im not sure but look for a folder called maps, but im not positive on that, to put the map into.

can u gimme a link for HMT...and i no how to get a map into the program...i just cant save it and get it out so i can use my mods/tag swaps

What do you mean,"tag changes"? If your talking about extracting meta and adding it to a map then you can do that with Dark Matter.

To put your maps back on your xbox just open your FTP program of choice(Flash FXP, Smart FTP, etc.) and find your map on your comp, FTP it to your maps folder on your xbox and format your X, Y, & Z drives. Now you can play your mod. :wink:

im sayin with a program like dothalo...its tag editor.......after i edit a tag..how do i save it to that map so i can play it(halo CE)

If your editing Halo CE maps, why not just use Sparkedit, HMT, or Xinject?

Also, you do not resign Halo CE maps. When you edit tags in most apps there is a "Save Changes" button, use it. :wink:

i have sparkedit and HMT...and i no about the save botton...but when i edit...does it save it for my game?
