im not trying to start anything or trying to ge ton anyones nerves its just that i seen a topic that says anyone who pastes SP -> MP conversion will be banned....if it isnt any trouble can you guys explain to me why? i dont understand is it illegal? is it a way of cheating? i dont know please help me...

not exactly sure what u mean......but post any full,unaltered maps is illegal due to copyright laws....so if that what u wondering bout

nooooo... in the tutorial submission spot theres a sticky saying if any1 posts tutorial about converting a single player map to a multiplayer map(making a SP map playable in MP mode) then they will be banned, i have a thing called mimesis and cable room is like that i was just wondering is this illegal some how? i guess i could see cuz it was old map so its copyrighted but its only part of it isnt it? idk just fill me in someone

The Cable Room isn't a single player to multiplayer BSP conversion, it is simply a mach tag moved over.

The Swamp Fox made Catacomb and Induction, which are BSP conversions, and, assuming that sticky is about Halo 2, I would think it was at his request that the information not be released.

That's just an old rule that was never deleted. You can post SP-MP stuff.

thanks laot guys for clearing that up i was confused for awhile there. thanks btw does anyone know where i could find a tutorial for the bsp conversion i was wanting to take a bsp from a SP map and swamp it with the MP bsp(if thats right?) again thanks
