HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I found this halo converter that converts ce to pc and vise versa and when i do all the stuff to convert. It works and is succesful but when I put it into the halo pc map directory it dosnt show up in the game. I also no for a fact that it is a pc level because I can put it into hmt. Any help would be great Thank YOU.

If so, it doesn't work, never has properly.

EDIT: best bet is to hex edit the title of the map file to convert it yourself. I could do it for you if you want, or tell you how.

EDIT2: Not hex the title, hex the first few strings of the map file...lol

Ya ive edited the first few lines so the levels do what they do now with the converter. But they still didnt work in halo pc. But do you know how to change the hex so it dose play in halo pc. Because if you do that would be great. O and a quick question not relating to the topic how did you become an elite. Thanks

Iy doesnt convert the whole map, it only converts the few bytes that indicate what map type its supposed to be, so you can open it in HMT.....

yes you can manully hex the map which is the same thing and its not hard

Not entirely the same thing. Massive difference is that it has worked 100% of the time for me.
