ftp to Xbox? crossovercable?

I want to play mods on xbox which i can download here. So i asked some around and they said i need a cable, a crossover cable or something... for connecting the xbox with pc, so i can transver the mod to Xbox...
Im not very good at english, so can someone give me a link to let me see what is a crossover cable??? so i can buy it? or i may already have it.
I would be even more glad if you told me how i can put the mod on xbox and play it... Tutorial?

me myself i have never got a crossover cable to work but i use a linksys 5 port workgroup switch and that works

ok, but could you than show me a tutorial?? I can't properly find a good tutorial, a full tutorial which isnt to difficult for not english guys. I already have a crossover cable i just discovered
. SO now i need to connect PC to Xbox. and now???
ps: why not? everybody is asking things like this...

Because it has to do with getting your xbox ready and modding nothing to do with moding halo.
