HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Before i wiped out my comp my CE worked fine but now ive installed it and reinstalled it twice and keeps saying i need to turn something off in the configuration. I dont know what's wrong. Can someone help me out here because i need to make some mods for my CE?

p.s. for all of you guys getting CE mixed up with combat evolved and custom edition I mean Custom Edition okay?
