Modding the new maps - that H2 didnt originally come with
(warlock, elongation, deltatap, turf etc..)
do i have to adding the to the main menu first before i can actualy mod the maps or use patches for those perticular (new) maps..
reason being i modded a warlock map and added it to the main menu
it did the count down and the screen faded like i was getting ready to play the map/mod and it when back to the screen where u make the Multiplayer selections (change map, start game etc)
can some1 shed some light on this for me...i remember a while back there was a tut or something that gave u some instructions on where the new maps go slot wise and then copy them over from the 4d530064 folder or something like that...
anyhelp would be greatly appreciated thanks...

I don't think im talking about TDATA modding either.
Just modding the other map levels.
But by that modding, do you mean XBL?
Cause my Xbox is hardmodded and can't go on live, my Halo 2 is on the Harddrive, but i got that MP map pack disk, and it stores my maps in that folder, and never bothered to ad them to my other map folder.
It sounded he had stored it the same way, and i know the DLC maps needs extra resigning, at least on my Xbox.

By saying Tdata, it was another way of cheating, which was not what i was talking about.Tural wrote:Are... are you serious?
TDATA Modding = Modding files in the TDATA folder.
Seriously, did yoy need me to mention that?
We don't talk about that here, because any Live modder could come browsing, find your post mentioning how to do it, google the tools, and mod on Live.
But i get your point, so i canged my posts.

You guys, we do NOT support TDATA modding here!
Do NOT mention anything about CMR. That program is frowned upon here.
Like I said:

It does not matter.
We do NOT support TDATA modding. You add them to the mainmenu if you want to mod them.
CMR enables you to mod on LIVE. Does that sound like it's ok to tell people how to use it?
No.
Do not use CMR, do not mod in the TDATA directory.
Like I have said two times before:
