halo resolution help!!!!

Ok this is fucked up, i baught this new computer and it's got a VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP video card, and i installed my Halo on it and now it's like there's 2 screens in 1, thare's a small 1 top lef,t and then the way it's supposed to be large and centered. they're the same screen but 2 of them like the top left 1 over laps the main big menu and i can move my mouse in both.. i've changed the resolution on my halo and computer... i don't know how to get rid of the top left window in halo.. any1 got any ideas?
