dds injecting help

when I try to inject some skinns it says it must be DXT3 and DXT2. or something like that in dothalo. This is for halo 2.

Lol, did you try accualy reading what you wrote? When you edit the .dds you have to save it as DXT3 and DXT2.

Most people use Photoshop to edit the .DDS

edit your bitmap... in photoshop

save as .....in photoshop

select the type of .DDS it is(such as DXT1 DXT2) or w/e the bitmap was when you extracted it.

reinject into dothalo at the same place where you extracted,save changes and sign your map.

If this does not work..you might need a dds plugin for photoshop

Yeah use Halo 2 BI. Extract your External bitmap, skin it, internalize it, then re-inject it.

This should help you out with the internalizing, plus you dont need to find the map the bitmap is in. And it comes with a video tutorial! Yay Ketchup!
