patching mainmenu.map to work with a modded map

Whenever I patch mainmenu.map to work with a modded map with a new name ex: NewYork.map, it does not load and just takes me back to the countdown screen. Is there a patch or file I have to get rid of for it to work?

I used the ppfs from this site for The map "New York".

please help.

So are you saying your applying the newyork.ppf to your mainmenu?

I did that and I put New york.map in my maps folder on my HDD and it loads up then it just takes me back to the start game screen.

You are supposed to apply the patch to triplicate.map...not mainmenu

No I did apply it to triplicate, then i tried to add it to my main menu and now whenever I select it on the main menu it loads then just takes me back to the start game screen of the main menu.

The AU will kick you out everytime.
Go to:
E:\TDATA\4d530064\ and rename the "$U" folder to:
E:\TDATA\4d530064\$Uketchupbombissoawesome

Now try to load your map, it should let you.
