Halo 2 Skinning Problem

Post by GreyAtom »

Well, I'm working on a mod for Warlock and I have all of my .DDS files made, but when ever I import them, they turn black until I get close and then they are really... "reflecty". I'm new to H2 skinning and I just need some help here.

Thanks.

I do that, but it takes 5 minutes ( I even have a fast computer ), and then it says it's already internalized.

Alright, you're going to want to download a program called Halo 2 Machinima Companion.
This program allows you to remove the low LOD's from maps. That way, they should not resort to black from long distances.

Also, just to be sure, clear your cache.
Head to:
X:\
Y:\
Z:\
and
E:\CACHE\
directories and delete all files within these levels. Then reboot Halo 2.
