computer help please

if i right click on sumthing like a file or sumthing on my comp it freezes then like 5-10 min later i get a error thing that has 2 end dr watson postmortem debugger or sumthing if i hit control alt delete i can find it in the processes n end it then its fine.... but i need 2 do shit on my comp n i cant do it its so annoying n i need 2 work on shit but i cant if ne1 can help me please im me on aim at trithumb.... srry admin if this is way 2 off topic i couldnt find any other place to post this... if this doesnt belong here does ne1 know where i could post this sumwheres else

It could be (and probably is) a virus. Have you made and virus or spyware scans recently? Also your computer might have something wrong physically like a crossed circuit or something so if a virus scan doesn't work than take it to a tech shop.

Whats the Process name?? If you have to turn something off in the process list, its obviously a virus. Do a scan with your virus protection.

Whoops, time for me panic. "Dr. Watson Post Mortem Debugger" just shut itself down. I'm about to run about three differant virus/spyware finders.
