Hosting Problems (not what you think)

When I create a game in Halo no one can even SEE my server. When I'm on X Fire my friend said it doesn't even say I'm playing a game when I'm playing my server. I tried what people have saidabout the DMZ thing but I can't find the Games/Applications Tab or anything like that. I need to test a map I made but I can't unless I host the game... I have 2 network ports on the back of my computer would that do anything to my internet?
