Question About Halo 2 .serenity Files

I have just started modding halo 2 yesterday and I have sucessfully modded maps using .ppf files, but I don't know how to mod using .serenity files. Could someone please tell me how to use these files to mod halo 2 or tell me what I need to do it with?

Its self-explanatory you just need to get the program .serenity
