FTP Kicks Me

I am using FlashFXP and I was able to put a modded map on my Xbox and it worked and everything. Then I went to put another modded map on for a different map and right when it hits 99% it kicks me off the internet. Why is it doing that and how would I get around it? AIM is StephenPmpnDaR6. Thanks.

First, you don't ftp your xbox on the internet, you download for example FlashFXP and install it on your computer. second, you download mods off the internet, more specifically, here at halomods.com
If you're downloading a mod and your internet stops it at 99%, that's your computers fault. It happens to me sometimes, but the download does complete. If the transfer stops on 99% in flashFXP, well, give it some time and if that doesn't work, well... It might be the file you're trying to transfer. I hope this helped.

It is the transfer from pc to FlashFXP. My internet hardly ever kicks me off. It only does when I am trying to get a file from my pc to FlashFXP. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Also I wait for it to see if it is going to finish, but it never does. I have to close Flash to get my internet to reconnect. All of the files I am trying to transfer come from these forums that have a bunch of replies saying that it was a good mod and they liked it. I just don't know why it would work for all of them and not me. I know there has to be someone using the same ISP that I am. Which is SBC by the way. My AIM is StephenPmpnDaR6 if you would like to contact me.

Have you tried FTPing through windows? and not a program just open up an internet explorer window and type in
ftp://username:password@IP address and it should take you to your folders...that works for me everytime....

The same thing happened to me, basically it was just conflicting ip's between my router and xbox...make sure every ip in your network is different and you should be okay. If it still doesn't work make sure it's not firewalling you out, if so, forward the ports necessary.

Yeah, that could be your problem, I have SBC too and for a while this happened to me now that I really think about it. Make sure all of your firewall programs are off like zonealarm or windows firewall. second, wht kind of router are you using, if it's not wireless, then I can probably help. Your ip for it should probably be something like: 192.168.1.1 because this never really conflicts with anything. Then you just have to make sure your pc IP and xbox IP are different.
