Okay, so you patched the map, and hopefully fixed the encription (dothalo or TF6's Encriptomatic). Then you hook up your xbox, and go to the games folder in your E: drive. Go under maps and just transfer over the zanzibar.map file. you should make backups of all your maps on your computer before transfering modded maps so if you want to put a new mod on, you have the original to patch. That's it.

Obtaining space is simple. Delete all or most of your halo campaign maps. If that isn't enough, delete some music if you have any on your E drive. another way is to take off unnecesary programs that you don't really use. If you have other games on your hd, you might have to delete some. Then make a halo 2 folder in a burning program (dvd2xbox) and copy the single files not in folders (default.xbe, download.xbe). Create a maps folder in the halo 2 directory and put the folder from the disc in there plus the multiplayer maps and shared maps in there. You need cyclotron, that's ivory tower. Youo don't need the binks, you can have the % loading screen or find a modded one on this site (look for under halo 2 downloads). That's all you have to do, just manage your space wisely!

When you go to rip Halo 2 to your HDD, just send the entire Halo 2 disc to your PC.
Once there, back it up. (Save this exact folder, somewhere else.)
After you have backed it up, go into maps and delete every .map file that has a number in it. Those are all the SP maps and you do not need them.
Once deleted, hop back onto your Xbox and send the remaining files to your E:\ drive.

You don't have too. What he means is you CAN rip the game to your xbox with a program like dvd2xbox and then transfer that data to the pc via ftp. If you don't want the campaign, (You need dvd2xbox) you can get it at x-b-o-x.net; just make a directory under your games folder or something called halo 2, go into it, copy the games xbe suff, and go to copy everything but maps. create a maps directory and only copy the names of the multiplayer maps that you recognize into it plus cyclotron(ivory tower) and the shared.map It should work and exclude campaign wihtout a problem. When you play the game off of your hard drive, there will be the campaign option, and it will try to load the selected campaign maps if you try and play them, but that's just for looks and they aren't there so don't worry.

Okay, now I get it. Still, in my lame defense, I've been gone a while so I just got to log on two days ago. O well... if he reads the post again, it could help.
