does someone know how the sounds of halo 2 are extracted, for then to replace them?

In lame-man's terms, you cannot edit sounds in Halo 2. Not yet.

The only way you can get custom sounds into Halo 2, would be to inject the sound into the mainmenu.map, and then swap an in-game sound for the mainmenu.map's music.
Round about way, and it stinks. So just wait from I_F or some other great modder to make a sound injector.

heres a question related to that.... would it be possible to replace the music in the mainscreen from HaloCE to the music from the mainscreen in Halo2? so that your playing HaloCE, but with Halo2 music instead!

now is this Mod already been done B4? or is someone making it/thinking about making it/or would want to make it??

i think that would be a simple, but cool thing to do!... also, it would really help out the Halo2CE Team too!
