i need to learn how to get shared.map and mainmenu.map can u lead me through the folders and so on? also what does it mean to clear your XYZ folders?

yes im modding and i have flashfxp i just dont know where those maps are, because i want to put my weapon and vehi skins on

FTP over to your PC, then FTP back to E:/ drive.

i found this tutorial heres part of it
1) Put the Halo 2 disc in your XBOX
2) Open up Flash FXP
3) Go into the D folder on your XBOX
i put my disc in and opend flashfxp and entered my ip and the pass io used for linux and it says connection failed so i cant get to the D folder

Like I said, you need to learn how to FTP. What I mean by that is not just "Oh, it asks for IP so let my put in a random IP."
You need to learn how networking actually works. However, this is probably a simple error that won't take too long to fix.
Go to Settings>Network Settings (on your Xbox) or something along those lines. Make sure that your Xbox is set to DHCP. Save, and reboot. Try FTP'ing again.
If you still cannot connect let us know, and post a log of your FTP session.

i didnt find anything to change to DHCP. i connected and got my IP adresses and then tryed to connect to my xbox with flashfxp using the static ip, but it never connected. i need like a full tutorial on how to copy H2 to the HD anyone have one?
