my gfx card well.....it should be crucified and i dont have a cross or a match but i need a decision i have an emachines fairly descent and i need a good gfx card which it will let me see blood and color of suits crewman multiplayer and such but it will have to be fairly priced for i am kinda how should i put it er hmmmmm o ya broke suggestions?

well first off never upgrade an emachine its not a pretty site
(never enough ram/hdd space/otherstuff) second its an emachine you cant run anything good on it but w/ever good luck with that

well you can solder it to a copper pipe and burn it but i know of a site for gfx cards have a look on dabs.com

That was a pretty stupid comment, I can't believe how dim some people are when it comes to brand names. Take for example the T6524, which has a gig of ram, an AMD 3500+, (Socket 939) and has an open PCI-Express slot. If you get a new video card, that is a COMPLETELY capable machine, probably better than the one you're running on now.

Yes, it was, because that might be his computer, and we could make an educated decision for what video card he should get.

dor once i agree with u narker also i would find out what type of gfx card ur mother board can use pci pci express or agp from then find out what gfx cards u can get on those varieties.

well erm thk yall very much for the info but....i really dont know the specifics of my computer cept tht its an emachines(plus i dont know any of tht crap yall talkin bout but i know i have an emachines and need better gfx card) if one of yall wants to come over and tell me i would pay.....nicely

Get ATI if you have a PCI-Express slot. I just got my X1800 XT today....it owns. Plus, ATI>Nvidia. Nvidia's cards can't do as many Anti-Aliasing passes as ATI's. I think Nvidia can't go past...4x?
