xbox harddrive switching

hey is there a way to take out a xbox hARDRIVE AND REPLACE IT WITH 120 GIG EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT PLZ COMMENT ME ON HOW TO DO THIS
can someone aim or yim me on how to do this

in an xbox?

well i got 120 external ones that i got for free so why go out and pay 200 to get a mod chip in

You
have to have a mod chip for you to mod Halo 2! It does NOT matter what kind of HDD you have. It could be a 50 billion gig, and you will still have to have a chip.

no you dont need a mod chip its called soft modding and that use the hardrive and it works just like a mod chip and you can put diffrent versions of halo 2 in there finally i mean come on think before posting
