Ok, this has something to do with halo and some to do with the xbox so i figured i would put it here. This is what is wrong.

When I start my xbox with no disc it will go to the main screen without fault. Now when I put a disc in ex. Halo 2, The big light will flash for about 30 seconds then start the game. Then it will play the first intro, once it finishes the intro it brings me to a loading screen that starts at 65 Then it will eventually load halo. Then I try to start a map and it doesn't load.

What do I do?

You say it plays the first intro, the Microsoft one? Then does it display the 65+ count up where it should be playing the Bungie intro?

Also, does this happen to all your games or just Halo 2?

This is what happened to me and my two friends (who also had copies of halo 2) It caused me to get pissed of and throw my xbox against a wall therefore destroying it after in my pyromaniacal fury  and them just getting pissed. So I just have to say, YOUR SCREWED. You could mb get the disk cleaned professionally or with a nice cleaning thing but that would probably be it.
