how to make halo CE maps, need GOOD help

hola, well i havent been around for a while (i havent been playing halo for a while now im back) and i love modding, bla bla yeah i know how to do almost everything but make maps for halo CE.
i know u need 3d studio max, i got 3dsmax6, maby i might need a newer one i dono, but yeah i also think u need like HEK whatever that is, could some1 please respond on how to do things like this, or possibly pm me or im me. something around there

www.google.com for HEK, there's tons of places to download at, and SteelixB made HEK+, sorry for not having links.

And you'll need the...Chimp Exporter if I remember correctly to export your map's geometry.

well thanx, i have HEK, i found it like 20 years ago, but i didnt know it was on my puter hehe

but yeah i wanna know how to make a map, not just the stuff to do it, if any1 knows more, please im or pm me!!
