how do you save a x8r8g8b8

hi i wanted to change the bottom sky of lockout but the bitmap is x8r8g8b8 and the bitmap i want in there is a dds so how do i convert the dds to x8r8g8b8 or how could i edit the x8r8g8b8 to look like the dds file?

This is the easy way.

If you are using Photoshop CS2, with the .dds plugin. Open up you rlockout sky bitmap. Then press File>Place>Your Bitmap That You Want to Change The Lockout Ckt With>Then make it the right size>Save. Then Inject it.

well i dont have photoshop. i have dxtbmp its a dxt to bmp converter and i use gimp to edit them. maybe you can do it for me i can send you the image i want you to make it into?

well since your willing to help i want from sentinelwalls.map the bitmap scenarios\skies\solo\sentinelhq\bitmaps\jungle put in to lockout.map's bitmap scenarios\skies\multi\lockout\bitmaps\mountains_floor. trust me it will look better with all of the other bitmaps in there with it.
