My xbox will not show on tv(only shows a black screen)!help!

Ok I was putting some mods on my xbox for halo 2, and I played around with them for a while. Then I decided to quit, but when I came back later to play I turned on my xbox and the picture wouldn't show up on my tv. Anyone else experienced this or know how I could fix this? plz help.
