HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I just got gmax, hek plus w/tag extractor, and adobe photoshop. and i need a tutoiral on how to use them to make a level it so confusing and i have looked but cant find any thing on how tos exept for 3dsmax.

Any help would be apriciated.

And how to change .max to .gmax so i could open some bases woud be nice too.

well for halo 1 you need CE and modling skills, and skinning skills, And for halo 2 you need alot of skill, time, and patience
