Give me an Example of a good framerate

My comp FPS = 16. likely one of the worst framerates on this site,but i might be upgrading to something really powerfull so i just wanna know what a good framerate would be. from what i heard a powerfull gaming PC with give an output of 110 FPS.

I can get 120+ FPS at 480x600.

I average about 35-50 FP at 1024x768 with a 128mb vid card.

If you hit 30 fps in a game like Halo, you're doing pretty good. The human eye can't see much past 30 so anything more would be pretty pointless. Cool, but pointless.
