taking screen shot without the prntscrn button

im working on a halo pc map editor and have been trying to take a screenshot of the screen but my pc does not allow the prtscr button to be used meaning i cannot take screens shots yes i know u have to paste the picture for it to work but it does not copy the screen shot so i want to know how to take a screenshot using a tool i used to use fraps to take screen shots in game but that does not work out of game or media sources so if someone can help plz do cos if i cant make a screenshot no one will know what my new tool with look like when i release pictures of it.
