trainer usage

I have the CNZ trainer for halo. When i bring up the menu, the second to last item is "cheat controller". Does anyone know what this does? I posted this in the Misc Halo for Xbox, but no-one seems to even view that =\. Thanks.
P.S. You can't even use this on system link, so to all the people that think I'm gonna, I'm NOT a cheater, I just like dicking around in campain.
