Dark Matter- Viewing Question

Ok, I figured out how to zoom around the maps in the BSP viewer of dark matter. I double clicked where the gate should be in containment and on the bottom it showed the tag of the gate. Problem is the gate isn't showing in the viewer. I cant see the teleporter, gate, guns, or anything.
How can I get these to show up?

Right click, turn on the things in the list.

ok, cool got that done. Now I thought I could just click one of the things and move it. Evidently its not letting me do that. How can I move them??

Move with the arrow keys, and rotate with the Insert/Home/Pg Up/Delete/End/Pg Down
