How do I make A DDS bitmap file?

Whats the point of making one? Just edit one... You have to use HMT, so open up a map and go to the bitmaps tag, select what you want to
EDIT and save it into wherever you want... Then either use Photoshop Or Paint Shop Pro 9 to edit it. (You will need the DDS plugin, check the link in this post!) Edit it, save it as .dds and then import it back into the map using HMT!
The plugin I have supplied is for Paint Shop Pro 9...

welll u can make ur own dds but why would u want to do that when all u need to do is open a dds and edit it to ur liking.

Or you can go into utilitys and look for one (its thee somewere for photoshop)
